Copper is the bottleneck

Bronze feels slow because copper does most of the work. Mine the visible top and dig around the deposit if you want more yield, but only when the area is safe enough to defend during noise pulls.

  • +Mine during daylight and leave before night if trolls or brutes are nearby.
  • +Do not carry ore through portals; use portals for repairs and food, then move metal by foot, cart, or ship.

First bronze crafts

The first bronze should unlock more options. Bronze axe opens fine wood, cultivator improves food, and a shield or weapon upgrade reduces deaths. Full armor is useful, but it is not the first lever for every player.
